This is Squirt! We're not sure if Squirt's a girl or a boy, but Squirt
sure is cute. Squirt likes to bite. Really hard. Souch so, that you
might bleed a little. It's okay though because Squirt is really cute.

So it's definitely been awhile since I've posted, but that's only
because I've been on a hunt for more books! This is one that I order
for the store and I have to say that it quickly became one of my
favorites! Please excuse the horrible photos that I get of these
books, but if you need a simple and beautiful "pick me up" then read
The Lonesome Puppy.

Bruno Munari's ZOO is such a simply perfect example of childhood
enjoyment. The illustrations are not over the top, and this book
really makes you see the zoo from a childs perspective again. One of
the many things I love about Munari's style is that it reminds me of
60's style illustration. Uh-mazing! A great read, and absolutely fun
to just look at.

This was definitely one of the funnest stories I've had the
opportunity to read. Bagel's Lucky Hat is a story about Bagel and His
friend Becky trying to retrace Bagel's day in order to find his hat!
Through the jungle, a river and even space!! It's an amazing tale!

Who wouldn't enjoy a beautiful day at the ocean? I know I did. To me,
it's definitely one of the greatest places to be inspired. Today was
"people watching day", and boy did I get my fill. From the boy that
shows up everyday, near the peir,to dance his heart out no matter
who's watching,and to the poor souls with no homes but plenty of
stories to tell. I thank them for the inspiration they gave me without
out even knowing that they were giving it...

Why is it that Asian kids get to have to coolest food EVER!!! I mean
look at this! If I had gotten this as a kid, I would've exploded from
excitement! This is by far the most EPIC packaging I've seen so far.
Nothing has, so far, topped my little pervert monkey trying to give me
biscuits....

Alphabet City was created by artist Michael De Feo. In it, you're
given the alphabet through wheat pastes in beautiful New York City! An
awesome concept & you don't have to like graffiti in order to
apprecitate the effort taken to make this book happen. So if you're in
the mood for graff and feeling like you should have paid more
attention in elementary school, this one's for you!

I had a snippet from a song stuck in my head for the last couple of days, and I found out that it was to Coldplay's "Life In Technicolor II". I caught it on Youtube & what an amazing video! The concept was really ingenious, and not to forget the song as well. So all in all I have to admit, I'm a fan.

This book is titled Hipira. A story about a young vampire, and all the
adventures that he finds himself on while searching for new friends.
What's even more awesome is that it was written by Katsuhiro Otomo,
the creative force behind the cult classic AKIRA! Find it and enjoy!

This is one of the first pieces that I made for my neices. I'm
inspired by their youth & the fact that they're quite adorable. This
painting starring "Manny Jr." has become the spark to many more pieces
to come.... Let it begin!
